Celebrity Smile Makeovers Part 3

Celebrities often find it necessary to improve their appearance in order to advance their career. Smile enhancements can include  whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges, braces and even complete smile makeovers in some cases, Since Crystal Lake Dental Associates is dedicated to helping people improve their smiles as well as their oral health, it is fitting that we point out the dramatic improvement celebrities have achieved with their own smile enhancements.  Crystal Lake Dental associates did not provide any of
the treatment for these celebrities, however we do provide a level of care on par with the examples shown.

Mike Tyson
Michael Gerard "Mike" Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American boxer. Tyson was the undisputed heavyweight champion and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles. He won the WBC title when he was 20 years, 4 months and 22 days old, after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round. Throughout his career, Tyson became well-known for his ferocious and intimidating boxing style as well as his controversial behavior both inside and outside the ring. After years of professional boxing, it's no surprise that Mike Tyson has had a few knockouts. But if you're going to get new teeth, why ruin a good smile with a gap toothed pair of gold chompers? Thankfully, Hollywood came knocking in the form of 2009's hit movie 'The Hangover,' and the boxer replaced his blinged out mouth with a set of pearly whites – with his trademark gap still intact, of course.

Miley Cyrus
Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus; November 23, 1992) is an American actress and pop singer. She achieved wide fame for her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana. Cyrus recorded music for the soundtracks, Hannah Montana (2006) and Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), released by Walt Disney Records. With the success of the Hannah Montana franchise she established herself as a teen idol. In 2007, Cyrus signed to Hollywood Records to pursue a solo career. When you're a young star in the Hollywood spotlight, it's hard to do anything unnoticed. That's why Miley Cyrus' transformation from snaggletoothed tween to picture perfect starlet caught the attention of many fans. Now, Miley's top front teeth are less prominent and her bottom choppers appear to be straighter.

Nicholas Cage
Nicholas Cage
Nicolas Cage (born Nicolas Kim Coppola January 7, 1964) is an American actor, producer and director, having appeared in over 60 films including Raising Arizona (1987), The Rock (1996), Face/Off (1997), Gone In 60 Seconds (2000), National Treasure (2004), Ghost Rider (2007), Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009), and Kick-Ass (2010). Cage, at age 32, became the fifth youngest actor ever to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas.
Before his makeover, Nicolas Cage's teeth were nothing to smile about! The actor appears to have replaced his crooked smile for the straight, white Hollywood grin he now bears in his blockbuster movies.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Mary Kidman, AC (born 20 June 1967) is an Australian actress, spokesmodel, and humanitarian.
After starring in a number of small Australian films and TV shows, Kidman's breakthrough was in the 1989 thriller Dead Calm. Her performances in films such as To Die For (1995), Moulin Rouge! Her other films include the box office hits Days of Thunder (1990), Batman Forever (1995), The Others (2001), Cold Mountain (2003), The Interpreter (2005) and Australia (2008). Noel Gallagher
Noel Thomas David Gallagher (born 29 May 1967) is an English musician, best known as the former lead guitarist, backing vocalist and principal songwriter of the English rock band OasisNoel has really had the full mouth rehab done. He had gums treated first to give a good foundation on which to restore, then has had approximately 12 crowns placed. After that he is looking a lot more symmetrical and balanced which is really the secret to what makes teeth look beautiful and the smile confident.

Steve-O
Steve-O (born Stephen Gilchrist Glover; June 13, 1974) is a British-American stunt performer and television personality. His entertainment career is most centered around his performance stunts on the American TV series Jackass. Of course the first noticeable difference in Steve-O's smile is the drastic whitening process that took his yellow-stained teeth to pearly white. The funny guy's makeover reportedly shut down his dentist's office for a week. "Girls refused to make out with me!" he once told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" about his new choppers.

Tom Cruise
Thomas Cruise Mapother IV (pronounced born July 3, 1962), better known by his screen name of Tom Cruise, is an American film actor and producer. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards and won three Golden Globe Awards. His first leading role was in 1983 film Risky Business,[1] which has been described as "A Generation X classic, and a career-maker" for the actor.[2] After playing the role of a heroic naval pilot in the popular and financially successful 1986 film Top Gun, Cruise continued in this vein, playing a secret agent in a series of Mission: Impossible action films in the 1990s and 2000s. In addition to these heroic roles, he has starred in a variety of other successful films such as Days of Thunder (1990), Jerry Maguire (1996), Magnolia (1999), Vanilla Sky (2001), Minority Report (2002), The Last Samurai (2003), Collateral (2004) and War of the Worlds (2005). Tom has had a long history of  multiple treatments for misaligned teeth that continues even today. In spite of that, he is still considered one of the most handsome celebrities around.

For a woman who barely smiles, it's surprising that Victoria Beckham would to go to such great lengths to perfect her pearly whites. However, Posh doesn't skimp out on anything – especially when it comes to her looks. Despite whitening her once yellow teeth, the former Spice Girls singer is said to not be a fan of her grin, thus adopting her trademark pout to cover what she reportedly calls her 'horsey' molars.

Zac Efron
Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He began acting professionally in the early 2000s, and became known to young audiences after his roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the 2007 film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray.[1][2] In 2007, before the release of High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone declared him the "poster boy for tweenyboppers" and featured him in their late August 2007 issue.[3] Efron has since starred in the films 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, and Charlie St. Cloud. Before he stole the hearts of his countless tween fans, Zac looked just like an average school kid in need of braces. For only a short time, the actor reportedly wore removable braces to reduce the gap between his teeth. Add in an overly-styled hair ‘do and designer clothes, and he's got the perfect equation for a teen heartthrob. Swoon!

  1. Sometimes even celebrities need to get their Oscar-winning smiles fixed. I didn't know Nic Cage and Tom Cruise looked like these before. I'm grateful that I diligently take care of my pearly whites. I feel like I'm one of them already!

  4. Smile makeovers are full mouth reconstructions that include dental veneers, composite bonding, tooth implants, and teeth whitening. It can make a big difference on how people look, especially for those who are under the spotlight. These pictures are proof of how these famous celebrities have transformed from having bad teeth to absolutely dazzling chompers. You can clearly see the difference (not to mention the improvement) in their appearance after the reconstructions.

  6. Yes it is essential to the celebrities for having a nice-looking personality as per the demand of their filmy career, because audience are crazy about their look. I think “Miley Cyrus” also spend a lot in this direction for giving this attractive look as shown here, apart from the list of bad celebrity teeth.
